The Great Bear Sea Marine Protected Area Network will protect 30 percent of the Great Bear Sea by shielding fish nurseries, feeding grounds, and productive marine habitats against threats like industrial pollution and overfishing.
Imagine the BC coast once again teeming with fish and marine life. Imagine people and communities once again making a good living from the sea.

Although they sound similar, “trolling” and “trawling” are two very different methods for catching fish. Trolling and trawling differ in their techniques, equipment, targeted species, and impact on our environment and economy.
